In this beautiful historic building dating from 1913, which has been restored & rebuild from 2014-2017, the legendary Oranienpalast Café, as it was known at the time, offered its guests not only great food, but also outstanding concerts.

Reviving this identity, the Orania.Berlin does not only feature timeless beauty & the ultimate in modern comfort in 41 intimate rooms & spacious suites, but also a huge living room featuring a restaurant with open kitchen & bar, two open fire places and a concert stage with a Steinway D Piano for concerts with great artists living in Berlin. The Literary Salon on the top floor not only offers breathtaking views of the skyline of Berlin, but also another Steinway Piano for concerts, a library, open fire place, bar & kitchen. The Salon which is equipped with digital boardroom technology, can also be booked for exclusive dinners, events, meetings, book presentations and record releases.

The Interior Design embraces contradiction, understatement & complexity to create an open & relaxed atmosphere where local residents as well as traveling aesthetes & cultural cognoscenti from all parts of the world will feel equally welcome.

A unique mix of local craftsmanship, subtle oriental influences, casual elegance, furnishings designed by Antonio Citterio & Patricia Urquiola, warm lights from Enzo Catellani & precious natural materials from Europe, Africa, Asia & the Americas showcase a cosmopolitan creativity & nonconformist individuality, just like Kreuzberg itself.
