Echoes of Canadiana - Lightfoot and beyond 

Echoes of Canadiana is an intimate duo concert featuring Atrin Madani (vocals) and Alexander Rueß (guitar), celebrating the rich tradition of Canadian folk and singer-songwriter music. At the heart of the program are songs by Gordon Lightfoot, whose timeless storytelling and melodic clarity continue to resonate to this day.

The set includes well-known classics such as If You Could Read My Mind, Sundown, Rainy Day People, and the powerful epic The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, complemented by selected songs from the wider Canadiana repertoire — and beyond.

In a stripped-down acoustic setting, Atrin Madani and Alexander Rueß focus on the essence of the songs: expressive vocals, sensitive guitar playing, and space for the stories this music tells.
