Jumping Bird

Cosmo Klein & The Campers is a musical collective led by singer, songwriter, and producer Cosmo Klein, which has been attracting attention since its acclaimed debut album Soul Fiction (2023). Together with a high-caliber lineup from the German and international music scene—including Benny Greb, Thomas Stieger, Felix Lehrmann, Noah Führbringer, Hanno Busch, Thorsten Skringer, and Peter Weniger, as well as guests such as Cory Wong and Brian Frasier Moore—the project creates a modern, stylistically open sound blending soul, jazz, funk, and pop.

Inspired by icons such as Prince, Marvin Gaye, and James Brown, the project combines musical depth with contemporary production and a strong sense of playfulness. Its live shows are known for their high energy and have even been brought to the stage in collaboration with the SWR Big Band alongside Cosmo Klein.

In spring 2026, the project released its new album Jumping Bird. Described as “crafted by hand, tested on the road, and born for the stage,” the record delivers passionate, groove-driven songs rooted in the energy of classic disco while emphasizing live-band intensity, warmth, and organic musicianship .

Cosmo Klein is praised for his stylistic versatility and distinctive voice, which fuses soul and pop elements into a unique, modern signature sound.
