 , and continuing to be reinvented - in London and Paris\, Lagos and Tokyo.
  In his concert program\, Johannes von Ballestrem takes these cities as st
 arting points. The Berlin-based pianist\, a frequent guest on internationa
 l stages\, plays music that reflects the sound\, rhythm\, and history of u
 rban life. Sounds of the City is his personal view of places where jazz is
  alive.\nIrma Neumüller began her musical journey in the classical world 
 when she started playing the cello at the age of four. After twelve years 
 as a cellist and ten years at the respected music school Lilla Akademien\,
  she opened her eyes to jazz and its singing tradition. Irma studied jazz 
 vocals at Södra Latin’s high school in Stockholm and two years at the n
 ationally renowned Skurup pre-college before moving to Berlin where she cu
 rrently studies at the Jazz Institute Berlin. In recent years\, Irma Neumü
 ller has been successful on stages all over both Sweden and Germany. Her d
 ebut album "Introducing Irma Neumüller” was released on February 23\, 2
 024 under the well-known and renowned Swedish label Naxos/Prophone. In the
  same year\, Irma also received the Sandviken Big Band scholarship\, and w
 as invited to perform at the Radioeins Parkfest in Berlin. Since 2025 is s
 he a scholarship holder of YEHUDI MENUHIN Live Music Now-Berlin e.V.\, and
  was accepted into the into the in Germany highly respected Bundesjazzorch
 ester (BuJazzO). She was also awarded first place at the ”Gesobau Jazz &
  Soul Award 2025”\n\n
