About the Artists
Robert Keßler is an acclaimed guitarist and composer with over two decades of experience. His fifth studio album Little People was released in 2022. He is a sought-after performer and has been a professor for guitar and ensemble performance at SRH University Berlin since 2017.

Tobias Backhaus is one of the most in-demand German jazz drummers of his generation. Trained under John Riley, Joey Baron, Keith Copeland and John Hollenbeck, with a jazz performance degree from the University of the Arts Berlin, he's been a vital force in the European jazz scene for over a decade. He regularly performs with artists like Till Brönner, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Gwilym Simcock, as well as ensembles including the NDR Big Band and Berlin Jazz Orchestra.
