When the two Berlin-based musicians Simon Anke and Tayfun Schulzke come together, sparks are guaranteed to fly. From Blues & Soul to Daft Punk and Billie Eilish, they play and quote anything that comes to mind. At the heart of it all is always their shared groove.

Pianist Simon Anke performs with renowned artists such as Jocelyn B. Smith, Keimzeit, and The Voice of Germany, and composes and produces music for his own projects including LÜX and Björn Bergmann. Percussionist Tayfun Schulzke carries an extensive collection of percussion instruments gathered from around the world. He effortlessly blends African rhythms into European pop interpretations, alongside Cuban conga sounds and Indian tabla playing.

The evening is defined by sheer joy of playing and the delight of surprising everyone — including themselves. No one knows what they will play next.
