COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Dear guests,

As you know, this time your Orania.Experience will vary a bit from the ones you´ve had before.

Apart from the regular measures to protect ourselfes from Covid-19 imposed by the federal state of Berlin and workplace safety standards we fulfill in general, Orania.Berlin is one of the initiators of “Clean&Safe“ – a voluntary obligation to submit to an even strikter hygiene concept, implemented by members of “Boutique Hotels & Apartments Berlin“.

We are doing our best for you to feel safe and thank you for your cooperation.

These are the current standards to protect your health and safety:

 

Basics

Your Orania.Team is trained to fulfill current safety standards and health measures.

  • There are sanitising stations in all hotel areas.
  • Your Orania.Team is wearing FFP2 masks at any time and submits to Corona tests regularly.
  • All frequently touched items such as handrails and door handles are being disinfected constantly.
  • Our aeriation system filters supply air with HEPA filters. In addition there are DYSON HEPA 

air purifiers operating in public areas.

  • We have digitalised our procedures wherever possible to minimise contact.
  • Please remember to wear a FFP2 face covering in all public areas of the hotel.
  • We provide enough space to ensure that safety distance can be kept.

Check-in and Check-out

  • Key cards and pens are being disinfected after each use.
  • You can book your table at Orania.Restaurant online at any time.
  • We are happy to help you pay contactless.
  • In order to prevent queues, we recommend you to pay the evening before you have to leave us.

Orania.Rooms

  • You can get all important information on your smartphone via Orania.App.
  • You´re in need of a writing pad, pencils or more information material? Everything you wish for can be found at the Orania.Reception.
  • Popular touchpoints like remote controls, light switches and door handles are being disinfected whenever possible.
  • Instead of printed newspaper we offer a digital kiosk with more than 500 international publications.
  • Our housekeeper loves to open some windows and let in the good Berlin air. But, please feel free to support her with this any time you like.

Orania.Restaurant

  • You can easily handle your reservation online or with a phone call.
  • Safety distance is also kept regarding the arrangement of the tables.
  • Your culinary wishes are carried out à la carte and your meal is freshly prepared in our show kitchen. This helps to minimise contact to other guests.
  • You are welcome to pay contactless at Orania.Restaurant.

Meetings and Events

  • There´s a sainitising station in Orania.Salon.
  • Due to governmental regulations regarding Corona, we can only offer parlamentary seating, so that safety distance is ensured by tables. 
  • The seats of all participants are located with a minimum of 1.5m of distance to each other.
  • For your convenience, we provide optional “Safety-First Packages“ for our business guests including a medical masc, hand sanitiser and a checklist containing the current regulations. 
  • Group work is only carried out at the tables, in order to keep the necessary safety distance.
  • Your Orania.Team opens the windows during breaks.
  • There´s a glass or a cup waiting for every participant at their table. Glasses and cups will be replaced in each break.
  • Every participant also gets one bottle of water, orange juice and apple juice to begin with.
  • Your Orania.Team is in charge for your coffee break. There will never be more than one conference group at the same time.
  • There is no moderation set-up in the room. Just let us know, what you need before your arrival and we will prepare everything.
